When it comes to power, this snow blower&#8217;s impeller spins up to 2,000 RPMs and casts snow up to 30 feet. It&#8217;s not terribly complex and should only take you about 10 minutes, and requires minimal tools. The only parts you assemble are the handle, chute, chute direction lever, wheels, and a cable clip. You just need a Phillips head screwdriver to help out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The controls are very incredibly simple on this snow blower, especially if you&#8217;re already familiar with battery-powered lawn mowers. Press down on the red safety button and then pull down on the presence bar to activate the paddle. Just push the guide rod 90\u00b0 left and right to rotate the chute. You can also adjust the throw angle up to 48\u00b0 to get the maximum distance. It has a ratcheting motion that lets you push it to a more downward angle. Push the spring-loaded release to bring it back up. The pivoting area of the chute feels like it can use reinforcement to strengthen it up a bit. The grip stands 38-1\/2 inches tall and offered a very comfortable resting height for my hands. Unlike some of the more premium models, the SB2001C is not self-propelled. However, it only weighs 35 pounds and the 8-inch wheels allow it to easily roll over bumps and debris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to storage in the off season, Skil made this pretty easy too.
