For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/acmetools.pxf.io\/c\/2242671\/817692\/11565?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.acmetools.com%2Fmilwaukee-m18-fuel-3inchx18inch-belt-sander-2832-20%2F045242630172.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Milwaukee&#8217;s M18 Fuel belt sander<\/a> weighs 7.5 pounds bare, while <a href=\"https:\/\/homedepot.sjv.io\/c\/2242671\/456723\/8154?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.homedepot.com%2Fp%2FDEWALT-20-Volt-Cordless-Belt-Sander-Tool-Only-DCW220B%2F323914753\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">DeWalt&#8217;s 20V model<\/a> clocks in at 8.5 pounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering those models are targeting slightly higher performance levels than Craftsman is here, this weight is right on par with what we&#8217;d expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CMCW223 uses 3&#215;18-inch sanding belts. Craftsman includes one 80-grit sanding belt in the box to get you started. The dust collection bag came in handy too\u2014 I like the zipper design that lets you empty it easily when it fills up with sawdust. If you&#8217;re after more runtime, I imagine larger-capacity batteries will likewise be as balanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One detail I found useful was the power-locking function. To combat fatigue, Craftsman included a trigger lock-on button that lets you keep the tool powered on without the need to constantly hold the trigger. Using it is easy: just hold the trigger and engage the lock-on button.
